Norma McCormick was appointed as the Chair of ISO-COPOLCO, ISO’s Consumer Policy Committee, in January, 2010. She represents ISO-COPOLCO on the ISO’s Strategic Advisory Group on Security.  She chairs CSA TC Z1004, which is currently preparing a Workplace Ergonomics Standard. Ms McCormick also serves as Chair of the Standards Council of Canada’s Consumer and Public Interest Committee representing a special interest in workplace health and safety, and is a member of CAC-COPOLCO – the Canadian Advisory Committee to ISO-COPOLCO, ISO’s Consumer Policy Committee.
